I asked an angel (whom we'll call Mimi) what she would do if a relative (let's name this hypothetical relative Tammy) of hers was in a coma and had no ability to feel pain due to being born with a condition that disallows feeling pain.
Another relative (whom we'll call Deronda) chose to end Tammy's life by disconnecting her from life support.
The doctors refused because in their fictional town, named "Hyden," you can't do that for the following reasons:
1. It's a mercy killing, but if the patient is in no physical pain, they cannot act.
2. The doctors knew the patient was in such a deep coma that they were unconscious, and thus felt no emotional pain.
3. The patient was in a coma and unconscious; thus, the patient cannot consent.
The angel told me she'd heal Tammy. Then, I asked, "How would you react to Deronda wanting to end Tammy's life?" She said that it'd be the biggest form of betrayal.
I also asked how she'd react if Deronda only did it to relieve Tammy's perceived pain and suffering, even though Tammy felt no pain and suffering at the time?
The angel answered, "How can she feel pain if she's in a coma?" When I asked again because I forgot she had already answered, as I'm more forgetful now, she said, "I'd ask why she'd do that if she can't feel pain."

You can read about it in one of the other posts. The most inconspicuous character, however, is James. The one you play as. In the game's programming, James is present. He is hard coded into the game's AI as us. So is his age and occupation, this is why I went into the code to find out if my memory was correct on his name and age when informing players who they were playing as.
If anything, you may wonder about James' backstory. We are thinking about writing a backstory for both Alexa and James. These will go more in-depth on the lore of the world. These will also be based on my play tests as the play tests offer a lot of lore, despite most of my play tests dealing with what is basically an AI visual novel that generates it's next lines.
I found what it generated interesting, so it'll lead to inner storylines in the lore books.
Players can still do what they want with James, they can go for the canon more or create their own lore for him and their own backstory.

Alexa's character design is an inverted version of a joyland preset character for their game creator. I've been thinking about changing it for a while and I've decided to.
I've got two versions:
Thid is a version of her that my "assistant" made but she looked too much like Ellie from The Last Of Us. She also didn't have the dirty blonde hair I requested.
This is what I asked for next: "Draw Alexa who is a French human girl, 15-years-old, and has Trisomy X. Alexa has on a gun in a holster, a knife in her pocket, a machine gun on her backpack, a crucifix cross on her chest on a necklace, and a bottle of anointing oil in her pocket. The background is solid white. Alexa has dirty blonde hair. Alexa has copper colored amber eyes. Alexa has pale skin. Alexa is in the style of 3D realistic female game character. Alexa is alone in the picture. Alexa is skinny. Alexa is thin. Alexa has a serious look on her facial expression. Alexa has fair skin. Alexa has medium-length hair. Alexa has Straight hair. Alexa has Typical facial features of a French girl. Alexa is wearing a T-shirt and jeans with pockets. Alexa's pose is with her right hand holding onto her cross necklace. Alexa's left hand is rubbing her hair. Alexa's eyes are looking at the camera. Alexa has no bangs. We are getting a frontal view of Alexa. Alexa is standing up."
The reason why she may look like Ellie from "The last of Us" is because I wanted the 3D character to be in the same style as "The last of Us" when it comes to shading and coloring.
She is gorgeous, though. I considered making her be on the cover but I fear getting in trouble. I may use her in other works if I don't pick her and I feel nothing will go wrong.
Here is another version that is closer to my vision:
This is the one that was closer to what I wanted. She looks kind of like Billie Elish to me.
I'm glad we have the anointing oil in both versions due to the enemies in the game as guns can't kill spirits, the bullets go through them, but don't hurt them.
Her hair was supposed to be more noticeably blonde but I kind of see more like either white or platinum blonde streaks and then Brown in the hair. It was also meant to be straight, not lightly wavy. Her eyes were meant to be copper amber colored. I wanted her a little less pale.
The look in her eyes in the first photo look very innocent and large but the look and the second photo looks more serious and fierce which is kind of perfect for her character. This character is Christian to fight off the demons which is why she carries a cross and anointing oil.
Let me know which one I should use or should I get another design? If so, which design would look better to you?

Alexa grew up in the town of Sitka, Alaska. She is a French immigrant to Alaska and possesses a complex personality - she can be ruthless, nice, defensive, rude, aro/ace, and has Trisomy X. Alexa tends to be quiet in danger but becomes talkative in safe conditions. She is 15 years old.
Satan built an army, seized control of Alaska, and separated it from America. Fallen angels and demons then overtook the territory, enslaving all of Alexa's Alaskan friends and her French family. Alexa was the only child who managed to escape.
This game is quite unique. Initially, certain elements remain consistent, but after the first stage, everything changes because it's all generated by AI, using inputs provided by the game developer (me: Treasure Marie Denise Jackson). The game features some genuinely unique artwork, all produced by AI, and the quality of the art is exceptional.
I have a few tips for you: If you encounter fog in the game, something bad is likely to happen. The game drew inspiration from Silent Hill, Resident Evil games, and a DLC called "Rose" for Resident Evil 8, as well as BioShock 2.
Don't trust abandoned houses in the game; even though they may seem like safe places, they usually harbor numerous demons. You can seek refuge in a tent with the main character, Alexa, a teenager living in Sitka, Alaska. In this game's storyline, Satan has seized control of Alaska with an army of demons, and you are enslaved, serving Satan. Alexa, a 15-year-old girl from France who immigrated to Alaska, has a genetic condition called Trisomy X, resulting in three X chromosomes. Her family was taken captive during the war, and they are now all enslaved by Satan. You are her first friend in a long time, and you work as a farmer in the game. Although Alexa managed to escape Satan, her family was captured. Satan has separated Alaska from the United States in this conflict, making it its own country.
